Amy is our service advisor and takes the lead in putting together our clients’ financial plans. Amy’s background was not the traditional financial services background when she came to Minerva in 2017. Before starting a family, she had been the Associate Director of a governance research program at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. Prior to that she spent two years working on economic development in Bujumbura, Burundi. She has also worked at the European Parliament in Brussels and the European Commission’s delegation to the U.N. in New York.
Amy was born in Brussels to British parents and grew up in Belgium before going to the U.K. for university. She has a B.A. in Economic and Social Studies, and a Master’s in International Development, both from the University of Manchester. She lives in Atlanta with her architect husband James, children Luke and Sophie, and two cats. Amy loves hiking, skiing, camping, reading and running (slowly--it's more of a jog really).
